One more photo catch up from the beginning of 2015!
| After bathtime each night is book time in Mommy and Daddy's bed. It is my favorite! We read a book or two, then Rob takes Truman and Elliott to their beds to sing songs and say prayers, and Collin stays with me to read scriptures and sometimes a chapter of a longer book. We finished his first chapter book at the beginning of this year: The Wizard of Oz. |
| We got a zoo membership, and have already made good use of it. The boys especially love the tigers and the sharks in the aquarium. Collin also thinks the walruses are funny because of the one time when we watched one gliding through the water backwards and run into a little floating thing by accident and flinch. |

| Me, Truman, Collin |
| This was on a Sunday morning when we all made it early to church and were sitting in the pew, when Truman out of nowhere started throwing up all over me several times. I was pretty successful at keeping it on me rather than the pew, fortunately. We carefully went to the bathroom to clean what we could before going home. |
| Elliott and Truman, side by side as usual. |
| Cupcakes at Asher's birthday party |
| Elliott preferred to eat his cupcake lying down. |
| Another zoo day! Collin acting like a bird in the play area |
| Fake sleeping in Truman's bed. These three are the best of friends. (E,T,C) |
| Dance party at the Grimmers |
| Crazy counter boys. They love to climb up and jump off onto the floor as much as they can before I can stop them. So far, no injuries from their daredevil ways, but I'm expecting broken bones before this year is over. Here's my official written prediction. |
| Keeping them off the counter is a constant daily struggle. Just had to take a photo for the memories of this stage. . . assuming and hoping that it will end someday. |
| Valentine's Day- Collin chose Lego Movie Valentines to bring to preschool. |
| February had some surprisingly warm days, so we had to take advantage of them and picnic in the park as much as we could. (C,T,E) |
| Valentine's Day cake! (C,T,E) |
| Collin's preschool Valentine's Day party was lots of fun. They did crafts, decorated cookies, and played with friends. |
| T and E at the Valentine's party |
| I came home from a baby shower one evening to find our living room rearranged to accommodate a gigantic fort. The boys were in heaven. (C,E,T) |
| Collin ran to the store with me the same evening as the fort fun, and apparently was worn out enough to fall asleep in the cart. |
| We had a quick visit from Grandma and Grandpa Grimmer! |
| Napping together (T,E) |
| This must be another day at the zoo. I love their three little matching heads trying to find the snake. (T,C,E) |
| We still bathe all three of them together. It's getting to be a pretty crowded tub! (C,T,E) |
| Sunday nap |
| We didn't really celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday, but made sure to read his books that evening with the Cat in the Hat and Horton stuffed animals. Seuss is a favorite around here. |
| We checked out an Eric Carle Pancakes book, and after reading it one day decided we needed to make some. (Maybe it was my idea- pregnancy makes me want every food I see a picture of). Collin insisted on having a tall stack of pancakes with a square piece of butter on top and syrup. I was happy to oblige the pancake stack he was imagining. |
| Pantsless babies reading together. Truman's the one holding the book. |
| Elliott usually has a stick in his hand when he's outside. |
| Our ultrasound day came, and we loved seeing our baby boy! |
| A couple of helpers making pie on Pi day. Elliott and Collin |
| They were obviously really excited for pie! |
| Elliott went on a special date with me one night. Dairy Queen had free ice cream cones, and Elliott was the only boy who took a nap that day, so I decided to take him out. He was so excited to tell Rob that he got "cho-chat i-ceem." |
| St. Patrick's Day! We stayed home and made up activities as we went that day. Collin really wanted to make a craft and decorate our house. |
| We decided to do a little leprechaun scavenger hunt like we did last year. |
| And of course shamrock shaped everything. Here's Elliott with rice krispies treats. |
| And Truman with a green quesadilla lunch. |
| They love to hang on bars, especially the twins, They can hold on for an impressive amount of time too. I love this picture of my three happy boys. Truman, Elliott, Collin |
| Funny faced Elliott looking in the sliding glass door. |
| We had a visit from Tiffanie and her kids one weekend, and we watched Rob's cousin's son Leo as well. The power went out, so we figured we should probably set up the tent and camp in the living room with flashlights. The boys had a blast! The power came back on after an hour, and Collin was the only one who ended up actually sleeping in the tent. But it still made for a fun evening. |
| Rob teaching all the kids about blacklights. |
| I attended a chocolate dipping class taught by someone in my ward, and brought home my treats. Truman approved. |
| Elliott approved too. |
| And then later that day, Elliott fell asleep like this. |
| The circus came to town, and we made the last minute decision for Rob to go with Collin after work. Collin had a blast and was so excited and giddy to tell me about it when he came home. He couldn't stop laughing uncontrollably as he told me about the clown that tooted. |
Easter
| Attending our neighborhood Easter egg hunt |
| The boys all got the hang of getting eggs this year and ended up with lots of little treats. |
| Truman got the most, I think. He also got a special ticket in one of his eggs that won him a pre-made basket of prizes! |
| Easter baskets |
| Classic "mouthful of chocolate bunny" Easter morning picture. |
| Collin's favorite surprise from the Easter bunny was a color by number book and new package of crayons. He spent a lot of that day coloring. |
| Bunny breakfast |
| Elliott and Daddy |
| Elliott showing off his treats |
| Truman |
| My handsome family with the traditional bunny cake! Truman, Elliott, Daddy, Collin |
| All smiles (T,E) |
| Matching boys, matching books (Elliott, Truman) |
| Snugglers with their blankets and the giraffes Grandma and Grandpa Grothaus gave them when they were born. (E,T) |
| We had a playdate with the McMullins and apparently it was blue day. |
| These Ikea baskets are going to get so ruined by these kids, but aren't they just so cute?! (Truman, Elliott) |
| The weather has been so nice, and we've been loving our backyard. The boys will stay out there for hours at a time. They constructed this "airplane" and Collin pretended to talk to the captain while the twins looked like they just wanted to sleep. |
| E and T |
| Another beautiful day at the zoo, just standing back and watching that attractive husband with those adorable kids. |
| Checking out the tigers. |
| Collin has been needing the next size of clothes, and I wanted to try h&m clothes but wasn't sure what the sizing would be like. So he had his first fitting room experience. I was excited about it, he didn't really care, but he did decide he really liked the one shirt he tried on. |
| Lounging around on a sunny day. (T, E) |
| E and T at the park in their favorite scary sweaters. |
